Owner description: The former royal palace of Tirtagangga (which means water of the Ganges, Hinduism's holy river) features tiered fountains, gardens, and stone sculptures of mythical creatures spouting water into bathing pools. Just outside the palace grounds, the views of the lush rice paddies of northeastern Bali are stunning.

We didn't stay here but visited the place on a day trip. The view was spectacular. The kids get to go for a swim. The water was cold and refreshing. We also had our lunch there. Food was good. While taking our own sweet time for lunch we also checked out the rooms there. They are quite impressive but I personally find them rather expensive. Suitable for those who come here for honeymoon. While eating lunch we also saw a local newly wed couple taking photos on the grounds. It was an enjoyable trip.

With its lush green gardens embracing an arrangement of water pools and fountains adorned with statues and sculptures from the Balinese culture and mythology,Tirta Gangga water palace is one of the most beautiful attractions in Bali.. Walking around in such magnificence and beauty gives you mix of feeling from excitement to relaxation and peacefulness.
The garden has a number of pools which in one it is allowed to swim. another has a group of stone steps that you can walk on to get to another side, which can be exciting. It's also possible to feed the fishes in the pools.
You can grab a bite at the restaurant next to the garden. The food is good, me and my wife were satisfied with what we ordered. Although the waiters are a bit absent minded, we didn't mind as we were relaxed with the scenery overlooking the garden :)

Tirta Gangga is a nice water palace. It has cool ambiance and friendly management. The ticket is not expensive at all and we had a nice relaxing time at this place. One thing I enjoyed the most was walking on the stepping stones at one of the pools. When you stepped on it, you can't really see the pillar under the stone and it felt like you're walking on the water. Interesting.

Nice attraction with the possibility to take a refreshing dip in one of the BIG pools. Good for slow walks in the manicured gardens or take adventurous steps over the water. The adjacent restaurant is good however a trip nearby brings you to Bali Asli with a more breathtaking view while creating a pleasant outing.

This is one of the most beautiful places that I have been to in Bali. Entrance fees is only 10k Rupiah. There are many authentic and antique-looking statues in the palace. If you like feeding, you can buy peanuts to feed the big fat fishes in the pool. I was lucky because when I went there the weather was good. The sky was not very cloudy and it was blue. It is definitely a nice place for photography. I would strongly recommend this place if you enjoy seeing temples in Bali.
