Description: Serving classic Persian cuisine, including kebobs with basmati rice and meat stews (khoresh) and Middle Eastern fusion dishes, including Paella and seafood, in a relaxed, elegant and tranquil atmosphere of Persian carpets, a running window fountain, and traditional Persian and French music. Local artists and musicians are regulars at our small restaurant, and business is brisk on Fridays and Saturdays at 7pm. We have been in business since 1988, and strive to offer our diners the best food and service for the best possible price.

Fusion Persian food with great service. Think fessenjoon made with duck. Not intended for those looking for a traditional Persian meal. Good quality, healthy food at a reasonable price.

First of all, don't make the mistake we did the first time we tried to find this place. Google Maps, our car's navigation system, and even the directions on the restaurant's website take you to a defunct restaurant with a similar name. You have to drive to the other end of Orchard Tree Lane (which looks like a driveway), away from Joppa Road, to get there.

Persian cuisine, like Iran's geography, is midway between Mediterranean and Indian. Neither of our dishes was spicy-hot, but both were delicious. I had the Barg, a beautifully-seasoned piece of grilled steak served with Basmati rice and grilled tomato and onion. Lizzie had the garlic eggplant chicken, in which every bite that looks like chicken skin is actually eggplant. It has a lovely yellow saffron sauce. There are so many interesting dishes on the menu, I'm sure we will return.

This is a great place to enjoy a meal with friends. Jason and his staff are friendly, efficient and engaging. I've yet to find a dish I did not like. We love the BYOB because you can enjoy what you prefer. Never eaten Persian food before??... the staff here will be more than happy to assist you in making the right selection to fit your tastes.

If you've never been to this place before make sure you map it out well because it really puts the "hidden" in hidden gem. The space is small in a strip mall tucked away from the rest of Joppa Rd. The staff is friendly and helpful and the dishes are excellent. They seem to have a loyal clientel because whenever we are there the wait staff engages patrons like they are family. It's a BYO so plan ahead and bring a bottle of wine or your fav 6-pack and save a bundle. If you like Persian food in an elegant and quiet setting I don't know how you can lose here.
