Stayed there for 2 nights on our Bali round trip. And it was a pleasant stay.
1st of all I wish to comment on some other reviewers comments regarding the food: we found the food to be tasty and also of a satisfying choice. I am actually always glad if the menu does not offer everything from everywhere. That generally ensures that the food available for selection will be thoroughly prepared.
Also in a hotel of this standard I do not expect to get meals for the cost of a roadside Warung.
The choice of rooms is worth to be checked out. We did stay in a Bayview cottage. Those are the latest additions of the accommodation choice. The construction is of many wood and provides for a homey atmosphere, although not a balinese design. Very well built, with attention to detail not common in Indonesia. E. G. They have fitted a motion sensor underneath the bed which sets of a floor light. Very good if you need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
Gardens and pool are impeccable. It is a remote and quiet place, very relaxing. Most of the guests seem to come there for the diving around Menjangan Island.
Only 2 downsides to note : there is no beach nor open sea, just the view on the lagoon and the access road to the resort is very poor.
Overall very recommendable for a short stay.

This is a lovely resort in the middle of the nature park in het north west of bali.
It lies in a bay. With a very nice infinty pool en lovely gardens with beautiful flowers.
The rooms have an outside bathroom, very special!
Because of the resort is isolated the prices are a bit higher than normal in Bali.
And the are no restaurants in the area, so you need to eat at the resort, where the menu is a bit poor. There are no taxis in the area so you always need to hire a car.

Room Tip: We had standard room and this was nice already. But than you donot have a bayview.

If you are looking for a place to relaxe and rewind, for excellent service and beautiful diving sites than this secluded and spacious resort in the North West of Bali is the ideal place to be. I've stayed in one of their four standard bungalows with my own little terrace, open shower and a nicely furbished Indonesian style room. I've spent most of my stay with diving around Menjangana Island with its unspoiled colourful diving places full of corals and fish. A wonderful experience also thanks to Robert from ExtraDivers and his team! A shame only that they don't have their own diving boat (due to arrangement with the locals to use their very slow taxi boats). "Resort Advisor" Tania gave me also excellent tips for my - individual - day tours around Bali. Actually, she was able to help and answer your questions whenever needed.
The selection of food is limited but good (oh, how I miss those banana pancakes for breakfast). The staff is extremly friendly. Their spa facilities can be highly recommended. Not to forget to highlight their 30m + infinity pool and little hot spot with the spectacular view over the menjangana bay, the mangrove forest and mountains as well as the unspoiled night sky and all the smaller and bigger "wild" creatures you discover during your stay (maybe not always something for more sensitive individuals). A nature adventure in its best and most comfortable way!

Loved the hotel, Bayview Rooms upstairs are family rooms and fantastic with great views. Nothing to hard for the staff. Very friendly and obliging. Food is very ok. Not 5 star but look where we are. Swimming pool is amazing overlooking the bay. Snorkeling is a must and go by 9:00am. Craig Bali

Definitely the place to stay if you're diving on Bali's north coast: calm, close to nature, bungalows are superb, pools and restaurants are top class, the staff is impecable, and it's in the middle of nature: never wanted to leave!

Pricy, but worth each penny for the accomodation conditions, wonderful villas (choose Bay View), excellent pool with a view and of course friendly staff whom make you feel like at home.
Food in my opinion is just ok, breakfasts nice (we tried only Continental and American), but food overall is in our opinion too expensive if you compare the quality to the neigbouring villages. Tired with local food I ordered a pizza in a hotel and it was probably done from the frozen dough, not a nice experience, hard to eat.
I would also suggest not to use the hotel Diving Centre as it is overpriced as well. You can easily come to the small harbour nearby and arrange whole boat for 2 people for the price of being one of many in the trip organised by hotel. Also I find it strange that you need to pay extra for renting a bike in such an exclusive hotel, so there are things to work on.

Excellent place, far away from everything. Very cosy, very local, close to the nature.
If you're there there is just you and the nature. Excellent food - local of course. Very good, just perfect Balinese massage we had there. I know what I'm saying about because I'm deepened one and have a massage everywhere where I am.
The villas are different. Before you'll choose check which one will fits your expectations because they are vary. Every is nice, near by nature. You can feel there like in the local village.
Thats the place where you can go alone or with someone to reset you mind and body.
Take a book.

Snorkelling or diving there - perfect. Theres really unexpected nice reefs there. Really!
Just do it and go there!
