'I want to cook for you' Iluh keeps saying. Much to our surprise a day before Nyepi,
the Balinese New year, we found her in front of her Warung Ole. Here her dream of her own warung really comes true. For starters we love the lumpia and the tempura. All ingredients on the menu are fresh. Iluh makes Indonesian vegetables that you won't easily find elsewhere. So together with the tempe & tahu-dishes (soya) good vegetarian food. Our favourite main dishes are the 'Ikan pepesan'(fishfilet in bananaleaves) and the 'saté lilit' (fishsatay) and also the other seafooddishes are super tasty. Our friend loves the pork-satay. If you can't eat spicy or if you love spicy just let her know before you order. As the prices are low you can try more dishes and don't forget dessert. Yesterday she surprised us with little crusty balls with in it a sweet mix of red sugar and coconut. Yummie, yummie experiences and not just because we are friends. Know that we have eaten at Iluh's place more often then in any other restaurant! We recommend Warung Ole to our friends and guests at our Villa Sinar Cinta in Amed also. See www.sinarcinta.com Keep on cooking Iluh and surprise everyone with Bali-soul-food!
