I loved going to Cafe Harmony when I was staying nearby. It has a lovely ambience looking out across the quickly growing garden and is open to the evening breezes. I loved the the fish dishes - some BBQ, some fried, all with interesting vegetables and salad and with traditional techniques. However, I really think that one of the main attractions is its owner, Anis, who is a beautiful, friendly, warm, knowledgeable, delighfully engaging person. Also, with her partner Nyoman, who has organised my activities and travel in and around Amed for several years (and is excellent on the BBQ) together they make a great team at Harmony, all of which should make a visit there one to remember and enjoy.
