Amed is a jewel and this restaurant is the jewel within the jewel. Your table overlooks the garden where much of their produce comes. It is then prepared right in front of you. Anais will explain the local herbs and spices she is using as she prepares your meal. The Rojak salad and grilled fish are a must. This is gourmet 'paddock to plate' dining at a warung price.

There are also charming villas where you can stay the night. The entire place is spotless and the owners delightful. It will be a highlight of you trip to Amed.

Delicious food! Run with great love and passion by Anis and her husband Nyoman. Fresh fish (try the fish of the day in banana leaves!) and fresh salads. The restaurant is set just in front of her organic garden and there's a pretty good chance Anis will give you an enormous papaya to take home :)

At Harmony Cafe, Anis and her family invite you to experience Balinese cuisine in a personal and authentic way that I have never had the fortune to enjoy elsewhere. If you're lucky to be there on a night where Anis is there, she will happily invite you to their outdoor kitchen where she will make each sauce (sambal) right in front of you, taking the time to explain each ingredient, where it was sourced and why it's important to the flavoring.

Food comes, fast, fresh and with lots of love and smiles. It's hard not to feel like you know them personally after one meal. We came back to order Babi Gulang from them, which was yet another amazing experience.

While visiting Amed, Bali, a few weeks ago, we were introduced to this amazing seafood restaurant by our friend Sasa, who's brother and sister-in-law own the place. The seating is outdoors, and the view is of the beautiful garden, mountains and valley to the west. The owners are so friendly, and the food was superb and fresh! I ordered the grilled yellow fin tuna; amazing! My friends ordered the grilled barracuda, which I'd never tried before, and that, too, was super delicious. I can hardly wait to go back again! I had ginger iced tea with my meal, but they serve a lot of refreshing drinks, including Bintang and wine. The restaurant is on a large lot where the owners are currently building 3 guesthouses. Their project should be complete in a few months. If you love bbq'd fresh seafood and meeting friendly locals, try this spot!
