Perfect combination of japanese and balinese cuisine.
Excellent view over the ocean.
Be sure to take the massage in the afternoon (get two for the price of one)

“Best meal of our trip!”
Reviewed April 4, 2014

My husband and I stopped here on our last night in Amed during out honeymoon. We were so sad that we didn't find both this restaurant and this resort sooner! It was honestly the best meal of our entire 3 week trip, and for a fantastic value! From the great wine (which is hard to come by in Bali!) to the sushi and the desserts, it was all amazing. My husband ordered the beef tataki and loved it so much that he ordered a second one, and STILL talks about that meal to this day! The B&B itself also looks gorgeous, and we regretted not staying here. The owners were both extremely friendly, and even drove us back to our resort, which was a haul! I would highly recommend this amazing find to anyone, both to stay at the eat. We will never forget this amazing meal during our honeymoon!

“Excellent”
Reviewed January 9, 2014

We stopped at Aquaterrace for an early lunch as we were leaving Amed and my only regret is that we didn't find this lovely little place sooner. A little curious, we ordered a few dishes to share between us and honestly, it was so good that I could have stayed and eaten all day. The calamari (I do not remember the name of the dish) was so good that we ordered it again - and again. Lovely relaxed setting (though small), great service and very well priced for such beautiful food. I would go back to Amed just to eat here again.

“Great place for dinner”
Reviewed October 21, 2013 via mobile

The owners of Aquaterrace are a mixed couple: she is Japanese, he is Balinese and they combine the best of these two cuisines for an EXCELLENT result!
The sushis and sashimis are extra fresh. The tempura too! The most difficult is to chose on the menu ;-) that's why we went there 2 consecutive evenings!

The restaurant is small but has a very cosy terrace facing the sea.
And all this for less than 10 USD per pax.

Just one recommendation: GO!

One more tip: enjoy a massage at their Spa. The therapists are very good and from 1 to 5pm, it's 2 massages for the price of 1 (around 23USD for 2 massages of 1 hour).

“One of the best”
Reviewed September 30, 2013

This was a delightful experience. The spa room is upstairs overlooking the sea on a private patio with a bathroom and changing area. As you lay down on the massage table, you feel the gentle breeze blowing over you. As the masseuse's magical hands begin, you know you are in for a treat.

My daughter and I booked our massages early in the afernoon to take advantage of the spa's two for one. We paid $12 each for a 90-minute massage--one of the best we ever had. It was so good, we went back the next afternoon for another.

The free pickup service was nice, but it was on the back of a motorcycle--without a helmet--a little scary.

Highly recommend!
