which means you will get very little sleep. The B&B is built only about 20 feet from the road, (as are many other hotels/b&b in Jemuluk) and has trucks and motorcycles driving past all night when you are trying to sleep. The hotel is very basic but it is also clean. No problems there.
But this is not in a nice part of the Amed area. We went based in part on the other review - but also after researching the area through the internet and guidebooks etc. But we were very disappointed. The beach in Jemuluk was very dirty as was the water. Impossible to swim there. Also, there were pigs on the beach - not wandering around. They lived there in styes built on the beach by the local families who owned them! Before leaving the area we took at look at other accommodation options and other beaches. Life in Amed was by far the nicest accommodation and the beach was clean as was the water. If we ever go to that part of Bali again we would definitely stay further south at Life in Amed.More
