“Mango Crumble Delight!”
Reviewed November 17, 2012

Komang John's is the sole restaurant at the Blue Moon Villas. Every meal was delicious, but definitely save room for the Mango Crumble, served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top!

“Great view, friendly staff”
Reviewed November 3, 2012

Visited this restaurant specially to try their black rice pudding recommended by other reviews. Sadly, being the quiet season this dessert must be ordered in advance, The remainder of the menu did not disappoint. A wide range of fish based meals and Indonesian style cooking. For those who are not so adventurous we did see a family enjoying some delicious looking sandwiches. Service was quick and friendly, the view was beautiful.
There are many restaurants and warungs in this general area and this is one worth a special visit. A little more expensive but worth the visit.

“Amazing food, extremely nice people and cozy atmosphere!”
Reviewed September 23, 2012

We met the owners of blue moon villas and komang john's cafe and promised to eat there once during our two day visit to Amed. We definitely didn't regret our promise and absolutely loved every minute of it! Amazing food and very friendly and helpful staff in a very beautiful restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. The owner's family and friends included us and made us feel at home and part of their family. Thank you very much for this unique and touching experience!
