We went there in February 2014, the room was comfortable & clean with hot water, aircon, fan. 350,000 idr / night with breakfast included. Staff is friendly and helpfull. Internet connection (average) is available at the restaurant (a lot of steps to reach it). View on the sea from the restaurant very nice :) all in all very good hotel and very affordable. I strongly recommend Bedulu hotel.

Our stay at Bedulu was terrible. 2 of our friends had to cancel the trip because of a visa problem. We emailed the managers to let them know and they replied thanking us...we thought everything was ok...but it wasn´t. Once at the hotel I wanted to confirm that the room was cancelled without problems but there were no managers there. The hotel was empty, we were the only clients so I thought our cancellation was not a problem for them. I was wrong. The hotel retained the 3 nights my friends had already paid despite as I said it was low season and the hotel was empty!
Apart from that they are lots of great places in Amed right on the beach, go to one of them. That will save you from greedy owners, steep stepts, extremely slow (useless) internet conection, average food...and more!

Room Tip: Go to any of the hotel right on the beach

It is very sad for us whenever our guests are not happy to stay with us. It is much worse however to see such a misrepresentation of the truth as written here. Firstly this guest was booked with an on-line booking agent and not directly with us so the cancel fee was a part of the booking conditions.

The truth here is the guest did not make proper visa arrangements to come to Bali and they did not notify us of the cancellation request until the afternoon of their arrival date and they only bothered to inform us through their friends that had arrived at the hotel rather than taking the time to talk to us directly and so they did not give us enough time to get another guest into that room.

As a result of this guest's no-show the room remained empty for 5 nights and the conditions of the on-line agent required the guest to pay a cancellation fee and if the guest did not pay this fee the local family that own the resort would be required to pay instead. Also the other things said by this guest about our resort are not true, such as we were fully booked for the relevant dates and many other guests had emailed us asking if they could book this room that we had to turn down, as we have only 6 rooms, we are not quiet like other hotels at this time of year.

We usually receive so many positive reviews about our resort, our restaurant and our service and we know that most guests are very happy to stay with us. We know that such a guest like this is luckily the minority. We always encourage guests to give us positive feedback for our learning but this is something else... We are not troubled too much by this guest review because we know that we will continue to provide great service and that many more guests will love staying with us and will leave here feeling very happy and relaxed.... This is what we always work hard to achieve.

Bedulu, with its majestic scenery and view's and its beautiful, natural construction is truly one of the most incredible places I've ever come across. The lodge is almost entirely operated by a close nit family of brothers and sisters who are all beyond friendly and helpful. The prices are really amicable and the food was incredible, every meal, every time. Really close to all commodities and right over the way from the coral littered pebble beaches... Truly blessed to have experienced this place with its beautiful rim flow pools and amazing staff and owners...Will definitely be back again and would recommend to any one planning a trip to Amed.

Room Tip: The family units upstairs are a little more pricy and a bit of a walk but worth both, over and over...

I am really not considering myself as a fit person. But anyway, it is not a bid deal walking the stairs up to the rooms. The staff members carry your backpack up all those stairs and you can eat at the upper level as well. The pool is amazing and the room very traditional and nice. We had some minor issues, but they got all sorted after we asked the manager or staff members. The hotel organized trips for us and tried to make our trip as best as they could. Sometimes they seemed a bit unprofessional but friendly anyway. Before you book, have a look at the location. After 6pm it is hard to walk back as their is no light on the street. However there are lots of caps and you can hire a motorbike as well.

Want more do you want, huge beds facing the rising sun, with an infinity pool, to spend the day by. Get your exercise by roaming the steep gardens. Walking distance to watch the sunset over Mount Arung. Memorable stay, took a great photos from here.

Room Tip: All seem to face the sea

Overpriced rooms, many bugs in the room, bedsheets and floor that never seem to stop entering the room.

Part of the toilet can be seen from the outside, however great view of the sea and an infinity pool to look forward to. However, with the money you are paying, one can get rooms which are closer to the beach if you are willing to forego the swimming pool.

Staff were slow in attending to my needs and I waited nearly 30mins just to check out, as there is only 1 staff manning the main counter. Breakfast was just normal, and overall the food was nothing to look forward to. Bad Wifi even if you sit in the restaurant, and there is no wifi in the rooms which is a very negative point.

At least 80 steps to climb to get up to the rooms so if you are unfit, you should consider getting another hotel elsewhere or you would have to climb the stairs everytime you leave and enter the hotel to get to your room.

Room Tip: The higher you are, the better the views.

We stayed 2 nights at Bedulu Resort. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who helped us check in and carry our bags up the many stairs to our room. The Superior Room was in a great spot, overlooking the awesome infinity pool and was very tidy and clean. On the 1st night however, there were a few cockroaches roaming around the bathroom and the doors did not shut properly, leaving a 2inch gap which more insects could crawl/fly through. On the 2nd night the door had been fixed and we found no insects/bugs in the room at all and had a very pleasant sleep. We had a few dramas with booking our fast boat to Gilis and the staff were extremely helpful even though it was not their fault at all. Overall, bedulu Resort is great value for money, in a great location (short walk/ride to main town) and the view from the pool is superb. The staff were friendly and very helpful... would definitely recommend
