The pool looking out into the sea should be reason enough for one to stay here. The rooms are comfortable, with all basic needs taken care of. When we stayed (in December 2011), the bathrooms had an 'open roof' with just foliage for cover. It takes a while to get used to that, but that aside, the resort has a lovely, close-to-nature ambience. A short early morning walk from the resort is an option worth considering!

We arrived fairly late, as the sun was setting, after a long day of cycling in the mountains and along the coast. As we arrived the staff welcomed us to the beautiful little resort. The first thing that caught my eye was the awesome little pool. The pool was definitely a highlight, even at night its got a view if the moon is bright enough.

The Thai food on the menu at the restaurant was devine and when the resort is not too busy they close the restaurant early. The breakfast was also enjoyable.

A word of warning, don't leave a candle on in the evening if get a massage, there are a lot of mosquitos and bugs that get drawn to the light ;)

A family of four, we enjoyed or stay. Our two children (9 and 11) spent most of the time in the pool, which has a fantastic location and view. The restaurant had good food and reasonably priced, you can hire snorkelling gear and go out in front of the pool, although you need to go further for the really good coral. You can easily hire a boat to go snorkelling or out further to go fishing the way they do, long lining for mackerel. The only negatives for us was the upstairs loft that was very hot despite the air conditioning (freezing downnstairs, baking upstairs), and there are many mosquitoes. Also be prepared to be accosted once you leave the hotel onto the shoreline for other people trying to sell you stuff. Some can get too aggressive which makes it hard to relax and enjoy a walk, my wife did not feel safe to go alone.

Room Tip: Rooms on the east side are hot in the afternoon and the opposite for the west side. If you are using...

The location and the view is simply amazing! The service was very good and I witnessed that as soon as the other tourist left the staff would wipe off the sun chairs right away. The food is very cheap compared to south Bali. It was also very tasty.
I cant comment on the rooms since we just had lunch at the pool and enjoyed the great view.

I stayed there with my girlfriend for a couple of nights.
Only one other bungalow was occupied so we had the place almost to ourselves which was great.
The bungalow was very spacious, it could accommodate easily a family of 4.
Aircon was good, there was a safe, and we loved the shower outside with view on the stars. The more you pay the closer you get from the sea and the see view. We were at mid level and could see the sea from the front of our bungalow.
Place was clean, a few mosquitoes but you can't really avoid them...and the bed is protected against.
Food at the hotel was simple and good but you can rent a scooter and visit arround to change a bit.
Nothing much to do at the hotel though but the infinity pool makes it worth with beautiful view on the see.
Staff was friendly and taught us how to play their local game.
You can buy a bottle of Arak (local rice alcool close to tequila/vodka) for RP75000 their, quite tasty as aperitif.
I snorkeled in front of the hotel but be careful its a rock beach, like all the North coast!
Their are a lot of nice diving spots all around if like me you are a diver.
