“Ideal visit for first time visitor to a Wax Museum”
Reviewed August 25, 2013

This wax museum is near to the bay watch which is approximately 2.5 km from the city. The wax museum has entry fees of Rs. 30/- per person and if your are taking a camera along you have to pay Rs. 10/- alongwith entry fees. This museum is average and the cloths wore of few of the models are very dirty. Even though its a delight for the first time visitor if one never visited a wax museum. This museum includes few famous celebrity actors including Amitabh Bachchan, RajniKant, Mohan Lal, Shah Rukh Khan few politician including present prime minister ManMohan Sing etc.
Not a bad effort and worth a visit if you are in Kanyakumari!

“Never knew this existed!”

KTDC tour took us to this Indian Wax Museum. Only a few wax models though that include a sumo wrestler, some Indian political heavy weights and Michael Jackson and Charlie Chaplain. Not a bad effort and worth a look if time permits.

“Good for view”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

The wax museum in Kanyakumari is about 2 Km away from the Kanyakumari beach. This museum is attached with the Bay watch, a water park. If you purchase the ticket of water park then this museum is free to see, otherwise a ticket of costing Rs 40/- per head will be charged. It is a good to view some of the statue like Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Einsteen and some south indian politicians and actors and the Inian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Maximum of the statue are looks like original and it is good to see this type of art in India. As per my view, the place is must see if you are visiting Kanyakumari.

“poor by European standards”
Reviewed March 23, 2013

Of the 15 or so wax dummies on display.
Some of them vaguely resembled celebrities of the day.
eg Michael Jackson was only recognizable for his own style of clothing & his famous one white glove.
One or 2 others were ok but as there were several Asian celebrates i had never seen & did not know i thought the place was very missable but mildly amusing if nothing else.
