Dimond nose ring of the Lord Amman is most famous, must watch diamond nose ring it shines so bright. cameras are not allowed inside so cannot take pictures, so my suggestion would be go see and have the feel for dimonds.

I expected the temple to be a sea of humanity. But to my delight, it was the opposite. I had the good fortune of praying and chanting lalitha sahsranaman before the deity. Excellent temple. Just like Kerala temples. The only draw back is that since the temple is very close to many tourist attractions, most people come and visit the temple as another tourist place thereby disturbing its sanctity. People must have the sense to distinguish between a tourist place and a temple.

Bare-chested men can enter, so I did. When you saw the sunrise in the morning, you can end your day in Kanyakumari with the evening pooja. It's a very good program.

The temple is located in the beach and its believed the Godess Bhagavathi Amman is very powerful. For men, entry is allowed inside the temple only with out shirts. The temple is maintained very well

The temple is situated very near to the Kanyakumari Beach. The temple closing time is 2030 hrs so visit the temple before the closing time. It take some time to see the Devi Kanya Kumari but there is a direct entry by taking special darshan ticket. There is a rule to uncloth upper body by every men during the darshan but ladies can wear any thing....
