A wonderful old property with helpful and friendly hosts. We enjoyed having drinks on the terrace, with peacocks strutting in the garden, and had delicious fresh vegetarian food prepared for us each evening. The owner helped us arrange a fascinating trip to see the nearby rock art and our guide Keshav Bhati is a real expert on the art and architecture of Bundi and Kota, who knows all the right places to see and how to get there.

I hired the complete property for 4 days for my wedding in kota and i wasnt disappointed by them, Although I decided to get my own catering and decoration as their al-a-cart was expensive but they were gracious enough to co operate with me.
i had around 75 guests occupying the complete property and at the time of feb, their garden and lawns are beautiful.

my stay was comfortable, Hassle free and most of all very reasonable and complete value for money. Mr. Harshvardhan (owner) was very kind in giving me the best service, flexibility and price for my family function.

Room Tip: please have a check of your gysers and heaters and loo pots, its about functionality to your likenes...

Stayed for couple of nights in April 2012 with family. Rooms clean but flushing tank in toilet had a problem, though fixed in couple of hours. Everything OK but the environment inside Kothi was disappointing, really nothing to write about, somehow the feel of holiday retreat was not there. I believe it is a better place for people on business. Though there was huge open spaces around the kothi but those were not maintained well. Enough parking for vehicles and Kothi is well located. Would recommend for people on business visit.

Very atmospheric old mansion set amidst green lawns and gardens, well back from the street. Large and elegant (in a circa 1920 sort of way) rooms. Very clean, comfortable, and pleasant. A bit pricey by our standards - but reasonable considering what you get.

Rooms are good (if plain) and there are nice grounds (with peacocks) to wander about and enjoy.
The rooms have both heaters and water boilers a rarity in Rajisthan.
The resturaunt serves good tasty local food but the choice is a little limited.
My only gripe would be a lack of either the internet or WIFI.

Have been staying at Sukhdam regularly over the past few years now.
The hotel is an old haveli that has been converted into a hotel.
The hotel is clean, the rooms are large and airy and overall, the hotel is warm and welcoming.
Highly recommended for a business traveler who is not looking at fancy frills.
The food is like home cooked food. Nothing to write home about, but overall, the hotel compensates with friendly service and a relaxed environment.

Sukhdham Kothi came as a really pleasant surprise especially since the typical most popular places in Kota to stay in are Umed or Surya Royal Hotels. However, Sukhdham Kothi beats them by many points. First is its great location, which is a green area surrounded by eucalyptus trees. It a few kms from the city, but Kota being such a tiny city, it takes hardly anytime to go anywhere. This location makes it useful if you are looking for a relaxing stay. Second is its great standards and quality. They say that judge a hotel by how nice is its bathroom, and Sukhdham scores very high in this. It has very clean and hygienic bathrooms, and the room interiors are luxurious and very ethnic.

Lastly, the owners of the Kothi are always around or practicing golf swing in the lush green garden, so you can have a cup of tea with them and ask them about the history and heritage of this beautiful hotel.
