We stayed at hill view international ,lonavala for 2 N /3D in Aug-2012 for our anniversary. Food was ok .Staying in that hotel can b compared to staying in a good lodge but it doesnt qualify as a 3 star in terms of hospitality . All thru the day v cud hear waiters talking loudly in the hallway which was very irritating. Coming to the hotel staff , it was a 50-50 experience , the housekeeping and the manager vr polite but a female @ the reception badly needs a crash course in handling customers. The day v rchd the hotel , the female there askd us if v had paid for the stay even after showing her the vouchers, its very insulting. The decent thing to do was call upthe travel guys if she had any such doubt in her mind. Also , on the day v vr supposed to checkout @ the reception she is informing us that credit cards wont work since they had some issues with their POS & v hav to pay cash. V tried reasoning with her & askd her to try on a second terminal . V vr shocked to find out that a 3 * hotel had only 1 terminal which was out of service for 2 days & they didnt feel it was imp to inform the guests that they will b required to pay by cash.
