The sight is so beautiful in the rainy season that youfeel as if you are in heaven. The clouds sail by and you cannot see the person who is just ten steps ahead of you. People sat on the car roof to feel the heavenly bliss.
Be careful while driving as the roads are not that visible.
Must eat the corn pakodas, onion pakodas, with hot tea and relish it. The valley is just so beautiful that you just cannot afford t miss this sight.
People should maintain discipline and see that they don't throw the waste food or plastic. Also since its a public place so decency is a must. Let the mother earth be as beautiful for the future generation to see it.

cloud covered valley was beautiful.and decent crowd.bad was it too much of empty bottles, wrappers, basically we human have destroyed the beauty by throwing garbage there.plz dont throw plastics n bottles after eating n drinking.if we dont have dustbins there then collect it in one place (or bag) and throw it in dustbin later.the more cleaner more beautiful....

While on way to Aamby Valley City we had passed by the Lion's Point and could see many people there.
We could see that from the vantage position they could see down in to the valleys and have a good view of the hills.
As we had to do some work in aamby Valley we did not stop.

On the return journey we did stop here-initially to have the "bhuttas" or corn cobs roasted on the charcoal fire in the angithi, spiced with salt and lemon.
I went to the Lion's Point just behind the shacks selling tea and 'bhajias' and had a nice experience of the valley as the dark monsoon clouds built up on the sky.

Breeze started and built up into wind.
The mist swooped down and reduced visibility to almost nil.
Then came the rain.

We waited to have the bhuttas.
The rates were almost three times the normal rates.
The driver had some bhajia and hot tea.

A few young guys and gals were taking rides on the camel.
Others had parked their vehicles on the slope.
From some came sounds of songs and music.
A few young guys came on their bikes.
A boy in front and a girl behind or both boys.
In a few vehicles the guys were very excited and swayed outside the vehicles to the tune of loud music masti and we thought they were enacting the scenes of some films.
"....jaisa filmo mein hota hai -ho raha tha hoob hoo....!"

One vehicle had pitched a tent on one side and it appeared the young ones were planning a night halt on the hill top by the side of the road.

There were beer bottles lying amidst the stones, pebbles and rock pieces amidst the wet mud.
I think this was a part of the adventure,as the young ladies had to take care not to get their feet cut by the glass of the broken glass beer bottles.

I took the photos all around of the view from Lion's Point, the hillsides, the shacks, the mist, road, traffic jam, clouds, lake, plants, vegetation and valleys.

I wonder when the sightseers, merry makers, visitors, tourists, locals and others would start taking care of the fragile environment of this scenic spot and hillsides?
