Very quiet place. Saff is amazing and very kind to children. Don't hesitate to do the trail near the hotel with a guide. We can stay easily for 2 days to enjoy perfectly. I recommend. Thank you to the staff

It started even before we reached the property when they called us to inform us about the price of the "set lunch" and whether we would like to book. Then the security could not find our name- and made us wait 10 minutes while he called the reception and then finally allowed the car to reach the hotel. At the reception, no one helped us with our luggage or parking. Instead of welcoming us, the check-in process began with them informing me about the cost of the lunch, and then demanding me to pay for the room upfront even though the amount was pre-authorized on my credit card. That the Wifi is paid for was not communicated to us. We checked in at 2 pm and they disturbed us by calling at 4 pm to ask us about dinner. And they called again at 9 am the next morning to inform us that check out time is 11 am. (It seemed like they wanted us to leave) We had gone for one quiet night and instead spent 21 jarring hours there.

I had one day stay at machan it was experience which can't forgot. Very exotic ambiance. Best place to celebrate anniversary and birthday of loved once, this gift never be forgotten. It's shear luxury situated In Hart of jungle.
Having activity which never be skipped.
One must visit the place to rejuvenate and outburst all city strees. That to very near in reach from Pune and Mumbai.

Machan is an absolutely beautiful resort. I spent around 4 nights and 5 days there. They have variety of rooms and I stayed at the jungle machan- which looks exactly like the picture on their website.
Their hospitality is par excellence. The staff goes out of the way to make you comfortable. The breakfast and dinner were excellent meals. Special mention to Arvind and team for being so hospitable. The manager, Shebir is really polite and accommodates requests for kids and guests. Note that since they have a limited menu, they are unable to accommodate unreasonable requests. On various occasions I saw guests take out their frustration at the staff and while the staff stayed humble about it, it should be noted the resort (like any other hotel) has its limitations which should be kept in mind by any reasonable guest, at the time of booking. Don’t scream at people because you can, since they are also trying their best to make it a pleasant trip.
The nature trail walk is a breeze. Toshi and Babanji - who is a local from the village close by, impart a lot of knowledge on the flora and fauna of the resort. Apart from this the housekeeping and staff try to be as prompt as accommodating with your requests as they can - to mention here- being a forest area - it can take upto 30 minutes for them to reach/ service rooms. Adequate patience- specially in the rainy season is needed. Wifi is paid for to encourage people to spend more time with their loved ones. Similarly, there is very limited connectivity.
Special mention to Adnan, Sandhya, Udit and the whole team at the reception for making the stay wonderful.
Note- they also have some great yoga classes both in the morning and evening. Both instructors have different styles and both are highly recommended. They are patient and even in a group class try and give as much personal attention as possible. I had a chance to take on a private session with Shradha- I highly recommend it.

100/5 if it was possible. Will return.

Set in the foothills of Sahyadri range this property brings nature to our doorstep...the elaborate jungle experience and the nature delight is what one can behold.
At a premium yes but nothing is below par.. infact its out of the world.. especially in monsoon when the clouds play their tunes too..from yoga to trail all part of the package.
The food is the only dampener though you cant ask for more can you in the middle of nowhere..and hey the hospitality is infectious.
This was a tree house which definitely we want to own for life..till then its etched!!
