Whether you beleve in gods or not, this is certainly a place to visit. Its located about 25 KM from Alappuzha and is a large temple with the snake god - Nagaraja as the diety. The main priest is a woman and the temple is located in a small forest of trees believed to be inhabited by snakes. The temple has 1000s of images, idols and figurines of snakes and is a very popular hindu pilgrimage centre. It is certainly an unparalleled experience.
