“Another ancient church”
Review of Edathua Church

The church and courtyard are good. But church inners definitely need more cleanliness and a coat of fresh wall paint considering the number of tourists come here.

the richness of the mansion (definitely not a simple building
I can feel that how small i'am in front it by all means .the amount of power aggregated from the prayers of believers too huge to protect the needy

Religiously Historical. A tendancy for copying traditional cultures !!! A point to be thought of!!
Ultimately If there is a religion that religion has nothing more to spare than the other one.For all teaches the SAME concept.

We were staying across the canal from this church at the little known but amazing 'Triveni River Palace' resort. The church was visible from across, and it fascinated me for it's typical Potugese style architecture. I took the local ferry across for Rs 2/-, and walked along the canal to the church!
After admiring the exteriors, I contemplated if I should step inside as people were kneeling down to pray in the main hall. However, I finally did, and am I glad for that decision! The interiors of this beautiful , centuries old church are covered with old paintings from the ceiling to the floor. The unexpected beauty of it all took me completely by surprise! This is a MUST VISIT place in Alleppy!
