I was at Bella home stay for 2 nights with my cousins. It was peak monsoon and we were thinking of canceling our trip. I called to check on availability, Natasha was very helpful and gave us an accurate picture on weather and everything else. We decided to go ahead with the trip and we are so glad that we did. The place was very cozy, very clean, but above all Biju and Natasha made our stay wonderful. We would talk for hours, play chess with Biju. They made all our transport including our boat house arrangements. The weather surprisingly turned out to be ideal. Don't miss out the fresh juice they offer, it's awesome. Jack, the pug is adorable.
If you are looking for a nice place with a great host; look no further....Bella home stay makes your Alleppey backwater trip complete. Thank You, Natasha and Biju.

We took a two weeks trip in Kerala organized by Bella Homestay, the hotels selected made us feel so comfortable with impressive views and great welcome, the places we visited were all really beautiful (Allepey, Munnar, Thekkady, Fort Cochin, Kovalam).
Itself, Bella Homestay is not only a cosy place in Allepey, it's also a place where Natasha and Biju make you feel at home. We loved to play chess with Biju, and eat the wonderful pancakes of our host !!
Special thanks to our driver, Sony, who was so helpful and so nice with us all along the tour !
All the best to all of you, we won't forget it !!

I found Bella Homestay on TripAdvisor when I was planning my trip to India. We wanted to cruise along the Alleppey Backwaters and everything sounded too good to be true. Except it was that good! This is the nicest house I've ever been to in India, super clean, friendly Biju and a great little Pug called Jack. We were greeted with fresh juice each morning and Biju arranged the canoe ride along the backwaters for us too. We preferred to do this rather than the houseboat - you get to really see what simple village life in Alleppey is like and you'll realize how much these people rely on the lake. The only downside is the low shower pressure, which is a small criticism. Plus, most people traveling around Kerala want to eat where the locals eat, so the recommendations we were given were more suited to western food and not quite what we were looking for. All in all, this was our first homestay experience and it won't be our last. Thank you Natasha, Biju and Jack.

The place is really calm, Biju is a very sweet person. I really loved the stay @ this place. I strongly reccond this for a peaceful stay.

The couple running this homestay are very sweet and caring. they take care of all the basic needs as required.

Also they guide you regarding your further trips in a very supportive way.

The breakfast served was really good.

Internet was pretty fast. Rooms were extremely clean and had all the basic needs. They had perfect running Hot & cold water. AC was pretty good. Overall an amazing stay

PUG which they own was soo sweet that maximum of my phot's clicked were with the Pug.

The surrounding is very safe & peaceful.

I would recomment Go there and experience yourself with the sweet & caring couple.

Thank Biju for making our stay really good.

What a lovely and friendly place! Very comfortable rooms, and Natasha was so friendly and chatty! On arriving we were given a mango drink with mango ice cream - just what we needed on such a boiling hot day. Our room was clean as a whistle and the air conditioning was so wonderful! Natasha organised our day trip on a canoe in the backwaters which was beyond brilliant. We had the most wonderful day with an excellent guide and so much better than going on a giant and noisy houseboat. Our breakfast at Bella was really delicious and we were so well looked after. Couldn't have asked for anything more! Natasha also organised all our transport in a taxi which was so helpful. And a quick mention to Jack the pug - what a character! Thank you again for having us to stay. We will return!

It was a nice surprise when we arrived on this lovely homestay!
We were welcomed with a big smile and a great orange juice. :)
The owners are very friendly and the little dog (Jack) is a must. They helped us to organize the houseboat trip, the transfer to the next stop - Fort Cochin and everything we needed during our stay there. Bijou (the owner) was always with a smile and available to help us. He was the nicest person we met in all India! :)
The rooms are very nice and clean, and the breakfast is really good. And there's free wifi everywhere.
Thanks for making our stay in India unforgettable!

Room Tip: The rooms on the upper floor are very beautifull, but the one on the ground floor is less hot! :)

I can't say enough positive things about Bella. I stayed for two nights in April and it was such a lovely place. The owners are incredibly friendly, (Jack - the dog is adorable) the rooms are spotless, the food and fruit shakes were phenomenal - after travelling for almost a month in India, this was a spectacular find. I can't say enough positive things about Bella. I really wish them the best. Please make sure to visit here if you travel to Alleppey.
