Good lively restaurant linked to the hotel next door, same menu but cheaper. Relaxed atmosphere but you might have to wait for your food.

“good food, great beer”
Reviewed March 13, 2013

Chose harbour as it was the only place we could find that served beer. And it was very welcome after strolling along the beach watching people have camel rides- much more fun than donkeys. There wasn't a great deal of choice on the menu but what we had was very good. there is a lively atmostphere here and each time we went in we enjoyed talking to people from several different countries. It's right on the seafront but it is not really the place to go if you want to enjoy the view. A great option for a cold beer and a quick snack but for a romantic dinner with a great view try Dreamers further along the road.

“Just Ok”
Reviewed March 12, 2013

This restaurant is on the beach road next door to Raheem Residency. Apparently they share a kitchen but for the extra few ruppees I would definitely reccomend that you eat at Raheems as the service & surroundings are much better. Both places are safe & clean but when we went to The Harbour the food was ok/ averageand the staff rude & slow.

“Nice place to sit and chill !”
Reviewed February 12, 2013

This cafe is right opposite the Alleppey Beach. It's a nice place to sit and chit-chat. We ordered beer and some starters. Their Pomfret Masala fry (served with boiled vegetables and french fries) was awesome. Try it if you are the spicy types. The Pepper Grilled Chicken ( also served with boiled vegetables and french fries) was ok. Our brunch or whatever you want to call it, costed around Rs.1500/-

The crowd that comes in is kind of mixed- locals, college kids and tourists. They played some good bollywood numbers. Overall, a nice place to try out.

“The only bad food in India?”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

In two weeks of traveling all over India, this was the only bad meal I had. The restaurant is one of the only places in town to get a beer, which is probably why it's completely filled with foreign tourists, but it's way too expensive, and the food is really actually terrible. Nothing tastes authentic. It's clearly all been changed for tourists. Next time, if I can't find a beer somewhere else, I'll just buy a bottle from them and take it somewhere else.
