This is an older hotel, and it shows in places. The staff is very friendly, the rates are reasonable, but the rooms could use a little TLC. That said, the bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water, and close to several restaurants and attractions. Room was clean, grounds were nice.

Room Tip: Ask for the upgrade to a suite--not really a suite but has a small balcony and a great western view for sunsets!

When my husband unknowingly booked us into a facility that allowed no smoking anywhere on the property and the only option was to stand in the rain for four days, I opted into this place, which provided smokers with outdoor cover. But beyond that, this place was very nice, if a little older. Still, very clean with great bedding and new carpet. Pool and beach and view overlooking them toward Pensacola were nice too. Laundry was clean and provided two working washers and driers, a big plus when you just got off a two-week cruise. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Attached restaurant and bar, where Quality Inn denizens got 10 percent discount, was nice, too. Rates extremely competitive. Would recommend for nearly anybody.

Room Tip: Second floor, center section, gives you best bay view.

In December there weren't many people at the hotel, so it was very quiet. Staff was friendly. The small beach is nice, the pool looked clean. Landscaping was being overhauled.
The room was nice and mostly clean ( I'm pretty picky about clean)-we had service every day.
This hotel is a few miles from the actual Pensacola beach. Would stay again.

We booked this hotel on fairly short notice. There was a festival at Pensacola Beach so the options were limited. There is a SMALL beach at the back of the hotel. Definitely get the beach/bay view. Otherwise you are looking at the parking lot.
We wanted to go swim in the pool the morning we checked out. The book said the pool opened at 9:00. It was actually 9:30 and the water was quite cold. I also thought the water was a bit dirty. I know it is an outdoor pool but it still seemed a bit off.
We saw them re-doing rooms as we left. All new carpet, dresser, TV, beds everything. I looked nice.
