“Still the best deal in town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 21, 2012

I am always delighted whenever I come here. Everything is prepared to order, and you can literally taste the pride that the chef-owner puts into every meal he serves. You can literally close your eyes and point on the menu, and you will be thrilled with what shows up. For the money, this is the best deal in town. Portions are generous and the food is always outstanding. I have been coming here for over 10 years and have never had a bad or disappointing meal.

“Locals Love the Aegean Breeze for Seafood”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 20, 2012 via mobile

Great food, and it's more than Greek. The seafood is just as delicious as the Greek fare. Locals dine here often and it's not unusual for the owner Stavros to stop at your table to see how you're doing. The menu is vast and it's all fresh. The salads even have fresh herbs. My favorite is the gumbolaya, their own creation. Also try the shrimp fetticini and the pretzel encrusted grouper. The portions are so large that it's a challenge to save room for the popular Greek desserts.

“You can't beat the salmon”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 18, 2012

The salmon and steaks at this restaurant are always cooked to perfection, never undercooked and never overcooked. They start you off with bread to dip in olive oil, olives and feta, on to a delicious salad, and then the wonderful entree. They outdo themselves on the preparation. I prefer to dine there for lunch for added value, but dinner is excellent, too. Wonderful little local place for good food. More tourists need to know about it, the value is excellent.

“Really fresh fish, only hours old.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 21, 2012

We caught our own fish and took it her to have it prepared by Stavros. He cooked our fish in three batches; lemon, blackened, and pretzel coated. We loved it all! He personally came over to the table to check on our meal and was delightful to converse with. The atmosphere is casual and the other patrons were interested in our fishing experience and seem to frequent this establishment. Our fish was served with rolls, a salad, and a baked potato. The salad was tasty but we didn't care much for the rolls and the baked potato was good, Could be great if they would use a little evoo and sea salt on the potato. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, which added to the pleasure of the meal. We were stuffed but got some homemade baklava to take home. It was very tasty.

“Best food in Gulf Breeze.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2012

You go to Aegean Breeze to order two things: sandwiches and seafood. Stavros and his team do a great job with all kinds of food, but their standout items are local seafood and a variety of immense sandwiches. Between the two, get the seafood. Whether grilled, blackened, fried or served Greek style (grilled and topped with pecans, feta and green onions), the Aegean Breeze is the only restaurant in Gulf Breeze where I order seafood with total confidence. For a real treat, stick with grilled or blackened grouper (if available) and get their delicious spinach florentine as a side dish instead of the baked potato.
