The hotel looked brand new. Room was very nice, with all the amenities. Bathroom clean and functional once we figured out the hot water heater. Location was not ideal. The pool was across the main road from the hotel and looked unappealing from far away. The hotel was not within walking distance from the town. The breakfast mostly had Asian fare buffet style. They did make omelettes, pancakes etc. to order but no nice breads and not great fruit.

We managed to get a pretty decent deal for rooms at this place but was a little disappointed that the rooms from third floor up, are reserved for VIP. The location is good - the beach is in front of the hotel but you need to cross a road to get to the beach as well as the swimming pool. The staff at their in-house cafe are friendly. The rooms are clean and big but the hotel is starting to show a lack of proper maintenance.

Room Tip: You will need to pay more for the rooms at the higher floors. Ask for the rooms with the windows fac...

This was the most comfortable hotel we had stayed in so far in cambodia. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and shower was hot with great water pressure. Cable tv. Downside...we couldnt get wifi in our room, just in the foyer and restaurant. Ala carte breakfast was included. Would recommend this place for a good nights sleep!

A grand looking hotel still in the making but no complaints. For $45 we had a clean, comfortable front room with a balcony and a lovely view of the sea. The staff were all friendly and our room was serviced daily. A huge new pool is near completion which you will have to cross the road to use. A little way from everything but if you like walking this is fine.

Nice view of the sea but rooms were very warm with Aircons not working very well and toliet seats cracking. Scary! Breakfast was very basic with no buns and breads. Mostly Asian breakfast provided. Staff not able to communicate effectively which made it frustrating.

The hotel was so new that it wasn't quite completed yet. The lounge area on our floor still had plastic on it and the stairs still had construction dirt on them. The hotel will be very classy when done. Materials are all of high quality. We were fortunate to get a room on the back corner, allowing for views to the sea and also to the hills. The room was a good size with English TV and fridge. We like to walk so we walked (3km) to the main restaurant area (crab market) but the tuk-tuks are so inexpensive in Cambodia that is an easy option. It was New Years eve and there were Cambodian families picnicking on blankets all along the walk and everybody was in a happy mood. In one section you'll encounter a lot of monkeys. English at the desk was not fluent but we got by ok. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. We were there as participants of a bike tour and the room was included in the price so I can't comment on value. I'll mark it a 4 but thats just a guess. It appears that the pool and a recreation area are being constructed across the road adjacent to the sea, on a large plot of land. I should add that there is a large attached dining room that offers a free, multiple choice, breakfast. Also a small balcony at the end of the hallway faces the sea and is nice option to get some fresh air and take in a sunrise or sunset.

Room Tip: Our NW corner room had huge windows on two sides and great views.

Beautiful view, nice room. Skip cocktails as none of the staff know how to make them. Breakfast asian but good. General cleanliness poor. Came back from day to Kampot to find our hotel room door wide open, not impressed. Would probably stay again as I prefer hotels to guesthouses and can't find another option
