“Great atmosphere”

Staff is really friendly and interested. The garden around the guesthouse is a great place to relax or have some food (there is a really good Italian across from the street). The rooms are simple but oke. Make sure you have a window. Good value!

Room Tip: Make sure you have a window.

Only stayed one night so didn't use all their facilities! Menu prices seem a little over priced $1 beer, $4-5 mains however I didn't sample their food. Double room with window and ceiling fan clean and basic. Soft mattress, which might be a novelty if you like such things. Staff pleasant and organised motorbike for $5. Kampot very small so location not an issue.

we get a fan room twin bed for 8$, the room was clean and big, so for the price was nice. The staff is friendly and helpfully and have a very good garden area. Place is quiet and close to center.

Is the second time we came here, I've seen another places and I thing here is the best value for that money.

We paid 12$ for a fan twin room that was in the newer part of the Guesthouse. Mattresses were not great. They were so soft you sink in them. Ceiling fan was really noisy but did the job. The garden is really nice but the restaurant is very pricey. You can find the same food for a lot cheaper down the street.

Nice enough staff, rooms cleanish but not exceptional. Garden is nice, gym is very very basic, just the bench and bar and a few weights (fine by me). Don't cone with high expectations and you won't be disappointed.

We booked (and paid in advance) for a double room. On arrival we were told some other guests had decided to stay longer so we had to have a twin room. No apologies, or offering us a drink, or anything to make up for this, just a shrug of the shoulders and a 'take it or leave it' attitude. Which consideirng we'd already paid wasn't much help. The floor was dirty, hairs everywhere, and the location wasn't good for the river front bars - very dark on the surrounding roads at night. not at all good. Avoid.

I feel like we could have got better for our $16, but without looking inside the other guesthouses I couldn't say. It's one of the oldest guesthouses in kampot, and it shows somewhat. Room was ok (double with air con in old building not newer one next door), clean enough, staff very friendly and can arrange onward travel. A note on that though, we asked what bus companies would be taking us on our journey to Battambang, and were told two buses, but just one company. We questioned this as knew it would be a different company for each bus but were reassured it was the same company the whole way, with a break and switch onto next bus in Phnom Penh. First half was Hour Lian Lion, second half was KSO, who I would definately avoid travelling with again if I can. We did the Bokor National Park day trip, which was good-don't expect any hiking or national park though. It's the old derelict French buildings (interesting to see) and some stunning views of the park from the top. They are planning (and have begun) big developments here so get here whilst you still can.
