Lovely location; genuine caring owners and staff (you couldn't wait to tell them about your day when you got back); brilliant, good value food. Other guests were lovely, the communal area was fab.
After hustling and bustling through Cambodian cities a 3 night stay at Ganesha completely revived us. We got a moto (if it's your first time this is a great place to start, easy and relatively sedate roads) and headed out into the countryside.
Sure you get woken up early by the call to prayer, yes you need to put on mozzie repellant. It's a tribal hut on a river surrounded by nature, so expect creepy crawlies. There are shared toilets (which are absolutely fine). None of these should put you off in the slightest!
The evening boat trip that Ganesha out on was amazing, one of my highlights in a month of travelling so far. Don't expect too much from the hill station though - but the ride up is fun.
We didn't want to leave. Could not recommend Ganesha more highly!More
