An oasis in the middle of nowhere. Stayed at the Treetops for one night after traveling over some very bad roads and through the National park. After that trip, we were escorted to our tents that were built up off the ground. Ours was reachable climbing a spiral staircase and into a large sturdy tent on a platform. Others were reachable by walking up a ramp, but not as exotic as the staircase. The main meeting and dining area is built overlooking the pool and a water hole specifically for the animals. It was also the only watering place for miles around and the animals are drawn to it. At the evening meal, we were escorted to an area with a large bonfire and tables for the guests. A buffet was served and a "floor" show of Masi singers and dancers was presented. Afterward we were escorted to our tents for the night. Again told not to venture out for the wild animals in the area. A nice respite for the night. The following morning, after checking out, the entire staff including the general manager assembled to see us off.
