We spent 4 amazing days at Chem Chem durig the dry season. I will remember forever having a beer with girafe and zebras walking along a few meters away and sipping a martini in the middle of the dry Lake nearby. The tents are extremelly confortable, daily activities around the lodge are very well organised. The two owners of the lodge are always ready to help and discuss their knowledge and experience of Tanzania. I would love to go again during the wet season!

Great owners, great staff, great food, great place, great rooms, great sceneries, great park next door. What is there there more to say? If you are heading to Tanzania, make it your main stop. If you are looking at Kenya or Sth Africa for a Safari, Just change your plans. You won't regret it. Fabia and Nicolas are real sweeties. Just beware, Chem Chem is addictive...

These 5 dream days in this incredible place were too short ... Breakfast with elephant, running with a "Massaï Coatch" across the dried up lake, sunddower with giraffes, ... Moment we will never forget and the dream to go back soon.

I enjoyed every single moment in this astonishing lodge situated between Lake Manyara and the Tarangire National Park. From the perfect hosts to the friendly staff, the delicious food and the exquisite wine celler, the luxury of enjoying the pool while observing giraffes, warthogs, apes and all kind of antelopes and the wonderful sunsets, experienced either in the spacious and lovely decorated lounge area or at the shores of lake Manyare... it was and unforgettable holiday experience.

Everything was just perfect at Chem Chem and we felt like totally home. Food and service were excellent so was the place as such.
I am just sad that I am already married as THE perfect proposal would have been at the sunddowner by the lake - a place and atmosphere we will never forget!
If you are missing your excercise: go for a run with a Massai - a very special and unique experiance - highly recommended!

New High End lodge on a perfect spot near Tarangire and Manjara NP. We woke up with Giraffe's and Zeebra's in front of our tent. Real African feeling with very nice staff and excellent service. We really felt home away from home without loosing the adventure.
