I eat there at least a couple of times a week. This is one of Greensboro's best! Healthy plus good is always a plus!

My wife and I have been to this restaurant (with a Greek/Italian flavor) over a period of 6-7 years, including several times recently. Its name was Mykonos but changed to Mythos, reportedly due to some sort of confusion with a restaurant of the same name. No matter, whatever the name this restaurant takes care of the details and delivers very good food and service at a fair price. In late 2011 or early 2012 they opened another location on Battleground Avenue in Greensboro, and our recent visit shows that it operates at the same high standard.

I particularly love the chicken souvlaki; it is perfectly seasoned and prepared. The souvlaki plate allows you to get double Greek salad and skip the fries. The homemade Greek dressing is particularly good. This substantial meal costs about 8 bucks ... not bad. There are other choices which are good as well, including the hamburgers, and some like the pasta. Wine selection is pretty good (some like it better than others) but the price is good, around 3 dollars. Service is on the spot. The new Battleground location is a little tidier and larger, but both are excellent.

It was just that, okay, but strange. Not a good feeling, not comfortable or welcoming to me.

A little strip restaurant, seat yourself, order tasty Greek traditional food. This is one busy little restaurant, but service is fast and very friendly. Good wines, including Greek retsina. Forget designer tableware, plastic foam is the order of the day. I got a combo platter of souvalaki, gyro, and spinakopita with a big salad, then added sides of humus and dolmades. Big portions, my stomach was bursting!

We had a pleasant experience on a Saturday at lunch. It is a casual restaurant, but clean and the food was especially good. None of us ate the exact same order. Beer was cold and food fresh. Staff was most helpful, with offers to refill drinks and frequently checking to see if we needed anything
