“Fun Downtown Pub/Eatery”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 7, 2014

Natty Green's is a centrally located 2 level brew house in the core of the historical section of downtown Greensboro. In addition to downstairs/upstairs bars they offer outside dining that allows dogs adjacent to rail tracks close to the rail/bus station. Good place to people watch and enjoy choice of many brews. Attracts a diverse clientele from college to professional. Not a fine dining establishment but offers good burgers, salads and sandwhiches. Last evening my wife and I enjoyed a n Old Town burger, salad and IPA beer. Tasty with good friendly service. 3 beers one burger, a soda, burger and salad was $31. Fun place to dine/enjoy a beer, take the pet if weather is good and people watch. Not for small children.

“Good grub, decent brews”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 31, 2014 via mobile

I've gone to Natty's for years now, and except for a brief stint a few years ago with an alternate local-sourced menu, the food is always great.

It's typical pub food, burgers and so on, but it's delicious. The food tastes fresh and is served quickly.

They also brew their own beer. I'm not actually the biggest fan of their beers, but they do have one or two I like and will order when I'm there because it is better than the typical national brands.

If you're in town and looking for good food at a decent price you can't go wrong coming here. The only downside is it is downtown, so parking can be a hassle (there's a parking deck about a block away), and it's about 200' from the train tracks so the patio can be loud if you time it wrong.

Go for the beer not the food. Average burgers and other menu items. Very friendly staff, fun location great location and terrific if you are a beer lover.

“Only okay but might try again”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2014

Main complaint was the food (club sandwich) tasted off. Homemade potato chips excellent and delicious ranch dressing. Service was slow and unsmiling, but not rude and definitely competent. It may have been the server had lots to do as she kept having to serve tables inside and outside. Room was noisy despite being only somewhat crowded (about 5:30 on a Monday night). The patio looks nice, but be aware that the train tracks are scant yards away. The two trains that went by were loud enough from inside the pub.

My friend had been before and has liked it, so I'm going to guess there are better things on the menu and it's worth trying again.

“Came for the beer and left because of the food.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2014

As a Greensboro native, I have been to Nattys a lot over the years. They have a good selection of beers from the tap as well. I have always enjoyed their crafted beers they make, especially the darker verities. Service as always been roughly the same. Nothing bad or nothing exceptional. It is a bar first and foremost so expectations of service should be in line

Over the past 3 occasions I have eaten here, the food as been just about terrible. I know its bar food, burgers and sandwich's, but it just not good. There was no seasoning on the burger and it tasted like cooked meat on a bun. The home made chips are always over cooked and hard as a rock. This was the consensus with the entire tables order. Bland and lazy.

I would stick to the beer and grab a bite before you come.
