Love Anita, her expertise at making a space very romantic is incredible. And the jacuzzi tub - it is as big as the cab of my truck. The setting is perfect - the, in room private breakfast is prepared to your desires and tastes. Whenever my husband and I have a need to getaway this is the place. 4 visits and counting.

Twin Lakes is a wonderful place to stay. Despite being in the middle of a large city, it is a quite and relaxing place. You would not even know your in the city staying here. The "Penthouse" room was large and beautiful. The large bubble bath tub was great. It really is big enough for two people to sit in comfortably. The bay window and the view from it was very beautiful. We really enjoyed the breakfast. The host at Twin Lakes Lodge is very nice and easy to talk too. She will make you feel right at home.

We enjoyed our overnight stay tremendously! Anita greeted us at our car when we arrived and treated us like royalty! The ammenties were excellent and the view of the lake from our room was very nice! Breakfast was delicious and the presentation was commendable!

We will be returning and highly recommend you visit Twin Lakes Lodge!

This was our fourth time staying at The Twin Lakes Lodge, and, as usual, we were not disappointed. We really needed a place to "get away from it all" and relax and remember why we love each other, and Anita provides the perfect atmosphere to do that. She just does bed and breakfast better than anyone else we've been able to find. On this trip, I lost my wallet eating lunch at a Greensboro restaurant before we left town to come back. The restaurant called our house to tell us they had found it, but did not offer to help get it to us. When we called Anita back to inform her that the wallet was found by the restaurant (so she could stop looking at her place), she offered to go to the restaurant, get the wallet, and mail it to us. This she did immediately, and I had my wallet two days later! This is what I call going the extra mile! The Twin Lakes Lodge is a must for us at least one to two times every year.

My husband and I spent our first night together as a married couple at the Twin Lakes Lodge and it was absolutely perfect. The room was really private and beautiful and it had everything we needed for a special night together. The breakfast that we were served the next morning was fantastic and delicious! Anita and the staff were so welcoming and nice, and they made us feel right at home. We had such a terrific stay at Twin Lakes and we plan on visiting many more times in the future!

My wife and I wanted to get away for a long weekend and could not have found a more perfect Bed and Breakfast, than this one. We stayed in the Tree House suite and it was PERFECT. Anita, the owner went out of her way to make us feel more like family than guests at a B&B. Most B&Bs set the time they will serve breakfast, but Anita let us set the time we wanted. Nothing better than sleeping in a little later and still enjoying breakfast. The food was the best and Anita took special care to serve vegetarian for my wife.
I don't think there is anyway I could say what was the best part as it was all great, the food, the atmosphere, the hospitality, just everything. We really appreciated the notebook Anita had put together that provided directions to various places in the Greensboro and surrounding area. What a wonderful idea, one we wish more B&Bs would do. It was so informative and useful.

There is no doubt we will be going back to this special place.

I have just complete a stay of 5 nights at the Lodge and Anita made every attempt to make our stay as relaxing and enjoyalble as posssible. Her southern charm immediatley sets the tone for your stay, and you feel relaxed and comfortable in her presence. As she takes you on a guided tour of your room and its amenities you immeditely notice that everything has been designed for your comfort. She will ask you at what time you want your breakfast. We chose 8:30 and we quickly learned that at exactly 8:30 there is a knock at your door and she arrives with your appetizer. This will be followed with a culinary creation that makes lunch an impossibility. If you are looking for ideas for the day, she has material and knowledge that will lead you on any type of excursion. Over the years we have stayed at numerous Bed and Breakfast, and my wife and I agree that Anita has created a Lodge that is special.
