“Great little place”

As we stood outside looking at the menu, a guy with his child came out and told us it was a great place to eat. So, we went in and were not disappointed. It is exactly the kind of place you want to find in a college town -- small, original, cheap, & good! House margarita w/ cumin salt rim is excellent! We had the original tacos, nothing too exotic - chicken, pork, corn and black beans. Love the corn tortillas! Everything was fresh and delicious, service was fast and good.

“Wonderful, funky place with great food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2014

We ate at Crafted on a Wednesday night in April. The wait wasn't very long -- about 10 minutes. They let you wait and watch the food preparation behind a plexiglass wall on the way in. Very gutsy of the restaurant! We had four different tacos (including the brisket one and one with black beans and corn). They and the Stuffed Avocado appetizer were excellent, but the real star was the guacamole. We pride ourselves on being guac afficionados and this was as close to perfect as we've found anywhere. Nice selection of craft beers. Wait staff were friendly and attentive. Nothing negative to say. We had a really enjoyable dinner.

“Best Tacos in Greensboro”

It's worth the wait! Limited is space, you'll meet new friends as you get "up close and personal" with every passerby in the narrow hallway..lol! Man ,I love this place. From the body art of the wait staff and cooks, to the NC beers, to the great food..something for everyone. I recommend the pulled pork and my wife loves the pulled chicken. .and why argue..just share!

“Eclectic Dining Experience (Highly Recommended)”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 20, 2014

We have recently rented a downtown Greensboro apartment and was exploring possibilities for dinner when we discovered Crafted. Glad we stumbled upon it because it is different, kind of eclectic but nonetheless a very good dining experience in the heart of downtown. From the street it is appears to be a very small diner/maybe bar. Upon entering we were surprised to move through a narrow hallway where you view the kitchen through glass. The actual restaurant and bar is in the rear area. We sat at a small table very close to other patrons. I enjoyed a very good local brew (beer) along with two shrimp tacos that were excellent. Their special is tacos of different types and spices.

Based on our initial visit we recommend and look forward to many future visits. Oh, when we left there was a line down the hallway and to the front door. In summary this is an eclectic, fun, tasty, establishment that specializes in tacos. They also serve beer, wine and cocktails. That said it is not a fine dining restaurant. There are many fine dining venues but good venues like Crafted are few and between.

“A little work of art”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 30, 2014

While on business I remembered a friend owned this place. I dropped in on a Thursday evening and sat at the bar. The bar manager Jake was pouring and he is full of craft beer love and knowledge. Crafted has kept their adult beverage selection simple, craft beer, wine, and signature Margaritas. The bar staff is skilled and speedy.

The menu is simple, but the food is cooked well. Great apps, signature and regular tacos, and salads will make your selection simple. Though the menu is small in size the food is big on taste, variety and flavor. If picking a dish is hard, ask your server, they know and enjoy the food also.

I left Thursday night full of AMAZING tacos and told my co-workers about the place. The three of us returned the following Saturday evening. We then had to wait in the growing and ever present line. Don't worry, they will have you seated quickly and the open l kitchen will keep you occupied as you watch the staff create taco art.

We sat at a table and our server was friendly and helpful. The craft beer selection was good and the food was on point even though they were busy.

Chef kris Fuller has indeed captured the art of the taco and transformed a small space into a great eatery in Greensboro. Don't miss it!
