Even though this battle was a loss for the colonists, the deaths and injuries imparted on Cornwallis, was strategic in leading to the end of the war. The battlefield has markers and authentic canons that demonstrated Nat Green's colonists, militia, and full reigment in the three lines as they led Cornwallis into the meat of his lines. The museum has been renovated recently and is a must see.
