This is a favorite for children that go on field trips. I visited with my child's class and the children loved it.

Open on Sunday, which few things are in Greensboro. The grounds are beautiful, especially in fall. There are self guided tours on which you can use cell phones for audio. The staff and security are all knowledgeble about the battle, the war, the artifacts

I enjoyed reading all the exhibits in the visitor center to learn how this battle affected the outcome of the war. If you like history, this place is really interesting. The movie was interesting in that it told the story from the American and British perspectives.

I tried the cell phone tour and that didn't quite do anything for me. I think it's better to go in the summer when they have park interpreters leading walks.

Even if you have no interest in history, it's a great place to walk or run.

We came here when visiting family from the UK. It is in a beautiful setting. Lovely to see the history.

Very few indoor attractions are open in Greensboro on a Sunday morning. Luckily for a rainy day, this one is -- and it is a good one. We viewed both audio presentations and thought they were well done. The displays at the Visitor Center are interesting, but the signage is difficult to read because of low lighting.
