The gluten-free pizza here is wonderful! The salads are fantastic, too, but if you're gluten-free, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better selection and better quality.

The atmosphere is casual and comfortable and a little noisy, with an open kitchen and an active staff running about. We got seated right away on Friday evening, early, but by the time we left (about 7PM) people were waiting for a table at the hostess stand.

Excellent downtown location, too! Such a wonderful and affordable meal out, especially if you're in town visiting.

Have eaten here a couple times for lunch, both on a weekend and a weekday. Food has been pretty good --pizza the first go around, which the family enjoyed, hoagies on the second visit that the wife liked better than I did. The down side is the expense and slow service. I could understand the delay on the first visit, as it was a busy Saturday lunch but this last visit was on a weekday before the noon rush. The restaurant was pretty dead and we still waited a good 20 minutes to get our appetizer. Wait staff is just ok. Not bad enough for you to complain to management but just don't seem to be energized or come around to check on you in a timely enough manner. Have found myself searching the restaurant for them and our food on both visits. As mentioned, prices are a bit high, again not so egregious that you close the menu and walk out but you're not getting out on the cheap either. Bar appears to have a pretty decent beer selection. It's the kind of place you want to be a destination for yourself and friends but in the end, just doesn't quite do it for me. If I was downtown and wanting pizza, would make the drive to Sticks and Stones in the Lindley Park area in a heart beat instead.

Having just moved to NC from New Jersey, I was craving good pizza. The mellow mushroom did not disappoint!

We had the cheese steak sub and the kosmic Karma pizza.

The food was incredible and with over 40 beers on tap, you'll have no prob washing it down.

We will definitely be back here and fully recommend it. The girl serving us was lovely and very efficient.

The pizza is mediocre, but not terrible. They have a lot of beers on tap, but nothing great (Bud Light, Coors, etc.). The place has zero parking - it's street only. The restaurant is not dirty, but doesn't feel like a "nice" Mellow Mushroom either. The service is okay. I would go back, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Excellent place to go downtown Greensboro for pizza and drinks. Mellow Mushroom has a great beer selection (around 30 on draft) and huge bottle selection. Mixed drinks are expensive. Pizza is great --- crust unbelievable. They now have a kids menu, so that helps out tremendously. On nicer, less humid evenings, they have an outside eating area out back. If you want to eat there at night on the weekends, allow plenty of time!
