Owner description: Known for its massive annual plantings and bronze sculpture, this 7.5-acre garden is a popular and relaxing retreat. A Wedding Gazebo adds an air of elegance, a man-made re-circulating stream provides texture, movement and sound, and a Sensory Garden engages visitors in an interactive landscape experience. A variety of sculpture placed throughout the garden provides artistic and historic interest. The garden is open year-round from sunrise to sunset. Admission is free.

A stone bridge over a flowing stream, original metal sculptures, lots of flower beds meticulously maintained by local garden clubs, shady benches & picnic tables, about a mile of paved paths, sunny and shady areas with flowering bushes. Other strollers smile and say, "Hey!"

Took the grandkids. Great little park to relax and enjoy the flowers. Weddings and the like are common.

My husband and dogs and I love this park! We go on weekends with friends, or for a short walk on a summer weeknight. It's also right across from the Bog Garden, so we often do both.

The gardens have paved walkways all throughout, surrounded by grassy or wooded areas with some benches to relax on (even a porch-style swing in one area!). There is plenty of parking, and we've never seen it very crowded. Absolutely stunning in the spring with all the blooming trees, but lovely in all seasons. I love the semi-formal style, with different types of gardens around you as you progress (sun-loving, shade-loving, blooming trees, blooming shrubs, sweet-smelling, butterfly-attracting) - it's beatiful and inspiring, not to mention refreshing.

I highly recommend a stop at the Bicentennial Gardens!

P.S. I've added a few photos, and I apologize that all of them have US in them! I'll have to take some without us blocking the view. :)
