We only went to see the penguins and the limited time A T-rex named Sue exhibit. Both exhibits were great!

“Great For All Ages”
Reviewed May 28, 2014

The Science Center is perfect for a day outing for a family. The grounds are beautifully kept. There is just enough to see without it being overwhelming. It is on my favorites list if you want a great family experience.

“My 4yo Loved It!”
Reviewed May 27, 2014

We took our 4yo son in May and he had a great time. The interactive part of the aquarium was his favorite, but it is a bit small. The zoo outside was a fun walk with a small variety of animals. The center is just big enough to make it an easy day for the little ones, but not so large that it is overwhelming. This is a great choice when looking for an alternative to a big zoo.

“Animals were pacing”
Reviewed May 19, 2014

We love going to the Asheboro zoo but decided to visit the Greensboro Science Center since it is closer and to see the T-Rex named Sue exhibit.
We were very uncomfortable with the outdoor animal exhibits. Several of the animals were pacing the same tiny areas obsessively and continuously and had worn a dirt path - this is unacceptable and very disappointing.
The t-Rex named Sue, a traveling exhibit, was worth the visit. However, we will not be returning after seeing the state of the other live animals.

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback about your visit to the Greensboro Science Center (GSC). The GSC is North Carolina's only dually AZA and AAM accredited attraction. Extraordinary care and observation goes into caring for animals that we treat as if family. It must be remembered that some of the animals at the Center were rescued from circumstances where negative behaviors originated. Keepers and curators work everyday to minimize such behaviors through behavioral enrichment and constant care.
