My kids love Wet N Wild. It's a great place to spend the day. There are lots of attractions for various age groups. My kids are teenagers now, but we've been going since they were small.

Spend the whole day, enjoy rides, water slides, and variety of food, while soaking up the rays in the Carolina sun.

Our family just came home from a trip to Wet N Wild, and I must say that after several trips to this park in years past, it seems to be going downhill in a lot of areas. While WnW is a clean, fairly fun place to spend a hot day, it seems that the service and attractions are lacking--especially for what you pay in price. One lifeguard continuously blew her whistle at us while my husband tried to pick up his sunglasses from the bottom of the pool. She was standing 20 feet away, and when we asked her to help us, she just kept blowing that whistle and shaking her head. We finally gave up. Moments later, while in the lazy lagoon, a similar incident took place. Instead of walking over to where one small boy was walking in an off limits area, a lifeguard continued to blow her whistle over and over and over. She obviously wasn't getting his attention, so the rest of the pool had to hear her wrath. Then, another lifeguard kicked our son off of a 52" and under slide that he had previously been riding all morning (he's a hair over 52"). Then there was the joy of having to pay another $7 ($14 total) for parking because we chose to leave for lunch and come back. Either way you go--literally--they are going to rip you off. For $120 (the discounted cost for a family of 2 adults and 2 children to Wet N Wild), I would recommend going a little further south to Carowinds where your amusement park tickets also includes admission to a nicer water park.
