Beautiful views of crocodiles, river and Angolan mountains.
The camp is built with a lot of taste and gorgeous african furniture and objects.
Choose a unit close to the main area, as some have a quite long and steep climb.
Very nice service.
Try to lunch and/or dine beside the river on one of the 2 balconies, as the restaurant is a bit bleak.
Our sleep has been the worst of our 5 weeks Namibia trip, as it was very hot at night and the doors had to be kept closed because of snakes...The ceiling ventator was only moving hot air...
The sundowner river boat trip is lovely and romantic. Recommended.
And the trip to the Himba village was very interesting. It doesn't feel "touristy" and one can only hope that their amazing traditions will be kept alive for a very long time. Do visit them and learn about their connection with the Herero tribe which was decimated (85%) during the German colonial occupation. Our guide was Himba and gave us a lot and very interesting insights.More
