“Paradise!”
Reviewed February 23, 2014 via mobile

We enjoyed 3 wonderful days with our two small boys (1 & 3) in the perfect Dar Najmat. This really is a paradise place with a warm welcome by the belgian owner, dream-views from the pool-side down to the nice beach, a stylish terasse and tortoises in the garden, a body-board to use for our older son who was in heaven, a heated extremely clean pool (26deg. when we were there in mid February), a perfectly kept garden, a gourmet chef always smiling - also making DELICIOUS desserts, very helpful and friendly staff who are always there when you need them: teaching berber / supporting with the children / keeping everything perfectly clean and us happy, a warm fireplace in the evening, nice rooms with TV & wifi, comfortable beds, hot showers, nice breakfast,... what more could one wish for! A real bijou place in paradise! Thank you to the owner and his wife and all the staff for keeping this hotel in a perfect way!!!

I was surprised with a stay here for my birthday, not knowing anything about it until we turned the corner and pulled into the drive. The Auberge has the air of something special and once I was led through the huge front door into our room, with double doors already open to the infinity pool overlooking the Atlantic, I knew this stay was going to be amazing. The chef gave us a guided tour and checked we were happy with his planned dinner that evening, I am vegetarian but he quickly accommodated me with another delicious sounding dish.
We were extremely fortunate to have the Auberge all to ourselves for our 3 day stay, so it quickly felt like home. The staff team were extremely friendly, helpful yet unobtrusive and we felt truly pampered by them. The chefs food was delicious and something we looked forward to every night, he really is an exceptional chef. The lounge upstairs is very relaxing, sitting enjoying a glass of wine in front of the open fire was great.
As a keen swimmer I used the pool several times a day, it was immaculately clean and what a location, swimming in the sight and sounds of those huge Atlantic waves. 'Arusha' the Auberge dog joined me most mornings on the poolside and kept me company while I swam. The beach is beautiful and was nearly always deserted.
Our room was beautiful, tastefully decorated with plenty of room, we closed the shutters at night but left the doors open falling asleep to the sound of the crashing waves! Three days of bliss...

Room Tip: Ask for the room that opens out on to the pool, it also has sea views!

The location of the hotel is absolutely magnificent and the property itself is beautiful. We found it extremely relaxing to be there and were able to make ourselves very much at home. There is a beautiful common space upstairs with a fireplace and all the creature comforts of home, and a magnificent pool deck. I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone traveling in the area. the staff were very welcoming and lovely.

Stunning view but ... this boutique hotel is not as good as it thinks it is. Although the hotel is really good in many ways, location lovely, pool good size and depth, you can walk down to a nice beach with scarcely anyone else on it. The staff are friendly and very helpful, the bedrooms were fine, if compact, the communal sitting room was comfortable. But the food gets a bit boring after two or three days. Breakfast was the same every morning, eggs either boiled, fried or omelette served with last night's bread toasted, together with a banana and apple and some dry cake and coffee often cold. Evening meals were very hit and miss, sometimes good but not consistent (dreadful stringy meat one evening). For this price we were expecting food and wine to be more varied. Wine expensive. You would need a car as there is nothing in local village. Definitely worth a couple of days, but not sure about any longer.

Room Tip: The corner room has the best view with two windows.

There is a luxury hotel, with breathtaking views on ocean, pretty desing inside and outside hotel, cleanness, breakfast and dinner included, very close to the beach, nice swimming pool, fireplace and big car park.Our room had small terrace with beautiful view on ocean!! Hotel has only 9 rooms, so sometimes we were the only guests! It is very quiet place. The only minus was that
personel don't speak English at all, which was embarrassing and troublesome; there was not wi-fi in our room (only in public area); water in swimming pool was quite cold;

The only semi-negative thing I can say is that the staff was a little bit elusive after we checked in. They were very welcoming and lovely when we arrived and checked out, but in the interim our interactions were largely with the chef and another employee who wasn't entirely announced to us. That being said, it was nice to be relatively left alone and helped us to relax further.

Absolutely gorgeous place to soak up some beachfront relaxation as part of a whirlwind tour of the country. It was completely worth the trip to come down to Mirleft, a fun little fishing village that served as a great spot for catching our breath before continuing to the madness of Marrakech. The rooms are great...be sure to get a view. There is a beautiful heated pool but weather here is quite variable so just go with then flow. We visited in April had there was tons of fog within this little cove the entire weekend despite the rest of the region apparently being hot and sunny. That didn't stop us from visiting nearby Legzira Beach with its famous red rock arches. It was completely surreal and we then has a seafood lunch along the beach. The riad had a great upstairs living area that really feels like home, complete with fireplace. Highly recommended and worth the higher than average price tag.

Room Tip: get a beach view
