The best thing about this hotel is its location. It is located right behind the center of the strip. Could not have picked a better location for easy access to everything. The hotel was probably fantastic in the 80's, but it does seem a little dated now. The staff was friendly and I found the hotel exceptionally clean. I saw maintenance men constantly, they were neat, clean, and courteous. It is obvious that they care about the upkeep and appearance of the place. Yes, the elevators were a little slow and were often crowded, but no where near as bad as other reviewers had made it sound. Parking was tight, it is directly under the hotel with support pillars everywhere, what do you expect? We only ate the breakfast on our last day. My husband went through the line while I sat with the children. It appeared to be the normal selection of breakfast foods. They were a little low on items, but we were there 30 minutes before breakfast ends. I have no complaints on it. The biggest issue we had was the small bathroom. The door barely cleared the toilet, the ceiling was low, and there was no fan. Again, they are making the most of what they have. I was not thrilled with the hair dryer. I did not bring mine since I saw one was provided. Luckily I just had a keratin treatment, or I would have been in big trouble. It was old, looked like it could short at any minute, and took forever to dry my hair. Unless you are someone who can let your hair dry on its own, bring your own. BE CAREFUL OF THE HOT WATER! This place has boiling hot water almost immediately when you barely move the hot. It does not take much, you will burn yourself if not careful. Do not let young children use the sink or tub/shower without helping adjust the temperature. The shower was fantastic! Great water pressure and no fear of running out of hot water, even with a family of 4.
