First thing I noticed was the strange and nauseating odor as soon as we stepped off the elevator.
The room was a "suite" that was dingy ripped carpets stains everywhere woodwork scratched and stained. The coffee maker and hair dryer did not work. The Jacuzzi was a joke. The bed couch and chair were so uncomfortable like sitting or sleeping on cement. Will never stay there again.

Room Tip: do not actually stay there

We had the unfortunate luck to plan our weekend getaway during the CYC retreat, while the teenagers were well behaved, they were everywhere! Our room was located on the 2nd floor right off the parking lot, this availed us with lots of loud roaming in and out of the building until the late hours of the evening. When we asked to be relocated, we were curtly informed they were full and that was all they had.
Then, as we settled in to our room, we heard the sound of water running in the bathroom. The float in the toilet was stuck, once again we called the front desk and a polite young man sent the maintaince man very quickly. He attempted to fix the running water, but to no avail. It was like having a riverside room, with the sounds of running water and everything. for the money spent for two nights here, one could easily rent a cabin with nicer surroundings and a view of something other than the parking lot.

Room Tip: Choose somewhere else, you wont be left feeling ripped off.

The Clarion Inn & Suites would like to thank you for taking the time to post your comments regarding your most recent stay with us. CYC is a annually city wide youth convention and the hotel implements youth rules for all church groups that were in house for that weekend. Due to our availability we regret that we were unable to switch you to a different room or floor. We would like to thank you once again for posting your comments.

We arrived midst a snow storm. Received a hearty welcome. The room was comfortable and very clean. 24 hour coffee, tea, hot chocolate!! Always fresh! They charge a $15.00 a night fee for breakfast, security, and parking. We didn't mind that once we had breakfast. It was the most amazing breakfast we ever had at a hotel or motel. Variety, freshness, atmosphere, and the friendliness of everyone was worth the price. Felt very safe, and the snow was a magnificent addition to our relaxing stay. The lobby is so inviting to relax in or play a game of checkers.

Room Tip: Rooms on the parkway.

My husband and I came for a Valentine's weekend getaway. We thought our hot water wasn't working, but when we called the front desk, we were told that we had to turn it on 15 minutes before needing it to give it time to heat up. I would suggest new pillows. Ours were very small. Luckily, I had my own. Lots of light around curtains and door. Had a hard time sleeping because it seemed like daylight all night long. Overall, our trip was wonderful because of the location. Will stay here again. Although we didn't eat breakfast, it looked and smelled delicious. Staff was very friendly and room was nice and clean. Close to everything you want to visit.

We booked online and were surprised by an additional fee on check in of $25 plus tax! However the room was very clean and had been updated recently. We were on the backside and although the view had a lot of parking lot it also had mountains. The breakfast and chefs were fantastic! Hallway noise loud, but truly a great stay!!!!!

Stayed here for the second time. Overall a good experience. I am a believer in value and this hotel is a good value. I really have only one complaint and that is you can hear a lot from the hallway and adjoining rooms. Positives are the location (on the end of the strip), it's clean, coffee available all day, cider and cookies available at night, and I really like that the corridors are inside and not like a lot of the comparable hotels that you enter from the outside. I did not use the pool area but it looked well kept.
