The craftsmanship of their work is unbelievable...and all done w/a chainsaw!!! It's fascinating to hear them tell the story of how they developed their craft. Amazing to see what they can create from a piece of wood. Their carvings are truly a piece of art. If you are ever in the area, its definitely worth the stop; if not to purchase a piece but to look around. However, I promise you won't be able to leave without something.

My husband and I were on our 14 year Anniversary. We rented a cabin called Bear Hugs, so we went looking for a wood carved bear. Jake and Angie did the best work. They engraved “Bear Hugs 2018 14 Years “ for us, they did a beautiful job on Honey, that’s what I named her. Thank y’all sooo much for making our Anniversary even more special, and every time I look at Honey we will remember our special Anniversary.

While in the area on our honeymoon, we kept passing this little shop and noticed the wood carved bears outside. We purchased a bear for my in-laws as a thank you for paying for our trip. It will be a wonderful reminder of how much fun we had for years to come.

They have wonderful chainsaw wood art, mostly of bears. They use trees that don't usually crack with age. the wood art is wonderful. The bears that are ready are small to larger sizes, also will make larger items. they are 1435 E Parkway, Gatlinburg, Tn.(hwy 321).
