We stayed 5 nights and would definitely do it again, maybe next time with friends. The floor plan is awesome and spacious. I would recommend it for two couples. The decor was great and we loved the hot tub on the balcony. It has a great view of the mountains and it is very secluded. There is another cabin near but there are many trees between so privacy is never an issue. The arcade machine in the man-cave was so fun. It probably had over 100 games to choose from. Most of the games were tournament fighter games or side-scrolling beat-em-ups.
Although the giant jacuzzi tub in each bathroom looks appealing, don’t expect it to be more than lukewarm. The reason being, the hot water heater can only warm so many gallons of water and the tubs are very large. So unless the tubs, themselves, have their own heating mechanism, there is no way to fill it up with hot water. This makes sense but we didn’t have any experience with jacuzzis so it never crossed our minds.
Be sure to bring your own paper towels and toilet paper. There was 2 rolls of TP for the week, for the two of us, but we had to buy some more.
Again, we LOVED the cabin and it made us wish we had one of our own just like it.
The cabin was wonderful.. so much so that it was hard to leave and visit Gatlinburg. We’re definitely staying here when we visit next time, with friends in tow. Gatlinburg is close enough that the drive is easy, but far enough to be secluded from the city. Hope you’re thirsty when you visit.
What an awesome experience! Our family of 4 went to Gatlinburg for the first time and we had a great experience, both with the town and the cabin. This cabin had an incredible view, all the amenities were great, very clean. Anita was great to work with and we look forward to our next visit. We highly recommend this location and Anita.
We rented this cabin in April for 3 nights. Reserving the cabin was easy and painless. Anita quickly got in touch after I reserved it. Her instructions on getting to the cabin once in Gatlinburg were easy to follow. The cabin itself was great. It is 2 stories with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths with jacuzzi tubs, a game/movie room (pool table, wet bar, arcade game, several DVDs), a full laundry room, bbq grills, and a stocked kitchen. Throughout the whole cabin was a horse/cowboy theme, from the fireplace screen to the blankets. There is plenty of parking out front. The views are great from the deck of the cabin, you can't really see the neighbors. Anita has thought of most anything you will need for a several night stay. I would definitely stay here again. I definitely recommend it.
Amazing view, close to Gatlinburg, local pizza shop delivers for those night you just want to stay in. Couldn't have been happier.
We were 2 couples and it was our first trip to the Great Smoky Mountains. So we really had no idea where to stay. We really lucked out finding Unbridled Memories! We did not want to be too close to the busy Gatlinburg area. Cabin was great, views were spectacular, and the neighboring cabins were barely visible. Loved it!
