Description: Serve Simple Foods Whatever the specific restaurant concept, the ability to create menu items in a consistently excellent manner is directly related to ease of production and simplicity of presentation. Consistency at a high level is always more important than innovation. Use The Finest quality Ingredients There is no more essential factor in a successful menu program than the quality of ingredients used in food preparation. Starting with the best is the only possible way to end up with the best. Keep The Environment Clean, Organized and In Proper Working Order Concern for the guest means being attentive to all environmental details from maintenance of the physical plant to the personal grooming of each individual employee. Cleanliness and order are the keys to building guest confidence in the establishment. Make Memorable Moments It is the perfecting of all the little details in a restaurant that makes the guest's dining experience a memorable one. With every action, the appropriate question is: does this act show a commitment to excellence and respect for the patronage of the guest? Work As a Team Ease, efficiency and enjoyment of the restaurant experience, for both employees and guests, is directly related to the level of respect, support and cooperation among the staff. Any restaurant guest is everybody's guest; any restaurant responsibility is everybody's responsibility.

“Excellent Food and Great Atmosphere!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 8, 2014 via mobile

7 of us stopped in during the week of Thanksgiving. All of us enjoyed our food! My hubby and I had a pepperoni pizza and hamburger .... both were delicious! My son loved his kids meal but especially loved the Mac n cheese! It was similar to a baked macaroni. My parents and in laws enjoyed their meals too. My dad tried a few different beers. My mom ordered from the gluten free menu and she was very happy with it! The place was clean and the service was great! Will be back next time we visit Gatlinburg!

“Fun place on a Friday night.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2014

I'll first warn you that we stopped here after skiing so we would have eaten a boot if it was placed in front of us. That said, this was still a good place to grab a bite to eat. They had live music on a Friday night, decent selection of home made beer, and plenty to choose from the menu. We had burgers and they were a bit greasy and sloppy but this is also somewhat of a bar, with better than average bad food. Their pizzas looked amazing, but I can't say much about their entrees. Service was very friendly and quick for being so busy. Prices were average too, Gatlinburg can surprise you from time to time when it isn't overpriced.

“Smoky Mtn. Brewery Good Time”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 1, 2014

My wife and I were in Gatlinburg and were looking for a place to grab a quick bite to eat. We'd checked the menus of a few places on line (and TripAdvisor Reveiws too). We walked around town the headed to SMB. It's tucked in behind Calhouns but we found it no probelm. The sign announced that we had to go upstairs, but sit anywhere. When we go there they were doing team trivia, which was fun, too bad we didn't get there sooner so we could have joined in. (The web site had it listed, just no time).
We found a table by some windows and checked out the menu. Lots of good things on it and a lot of beer choices. A couple at the next table suggested we try a Flight of Beers. I checked them out and thought that was a good idea. We chose 5 beers for $5.65, not bad. Then a look at the menu - enough choices for anyone - Appetizers, wingers, burgers, sandwiches, and hand tossed Pizza and Calzones. We chose a Brewmaster with garlic roasted chicken, tomatoes
and spinach for $18.00 for a 12" pie. A little pricey for the pizza, but the beer prices were low.
When our server brought the Flight of beer, he placed it on a placement where each beer was described, so we knew what we were drinking. The beers were very good. The pizza came, it was very good as well. We polished it off in no time. We left before the music started, but it would have been a nice place to stay and drink and listen. They have 3 other locations so I imagine you can get the same menus elsewhere. There were TV's all around so if you wanted to watch sports, that was available too.
