“lesser know great place for lunch!!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 6, 2013

Always come here for lunch when we are in town. The sandwiches are delicious!!! They come with marinated cucumbers. Would highly reccommend them. Hand cut fries. We had the dutch diplomat sandwich a triple layered ham and turkey on rye with chopped sauerkraut. To die for. The marinated bean salad was so good!! The servers are always so helpful and make sure you are waited on. A refresher from all of the younger generations at other restaurants, who could care less about their customers. My friend had the beef barley soup and she said it was divine. For three of us with pop was $35.

“Sweet potato pancakes!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 5, 2013 via mobile

Great location, service, and sweet potato pancakes! Go before hitting up the aquarium for a great day. Be aware no credit cards are accepted but an ATM is on site. They have everything there, it's a very cool place

“Enjoyed it!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 5, 2013

We're usually not breakfast people but heard a lot about this place so we decided to stop in on our way out of town. We were here on a Tuesday around 8 am. We heard about the line that is usually out the door, but on this day we had no trouble getting in. The food was good, we split some buttermilk pancakes, and sausage since we didn't want to overeat and be miserable driving home. My husband also had the grits, which he said were very creamy and the best he'd ever had. You can park on the street right outside, if you move your car by 9 a.m. Our waitress was one of the friendliest people we encountered in Gatlinburg during our trip. We'll be back on our next visit!

“Bacon Waffle”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 1, 2013 via mobile

We stopped in during our vacation to Gatlinburg, celebrating our daughters 9th birthday. The bacon waffle is marvelous!! My family had silver dollar pancakes, sweet potato pancakes and buttermilk pancakes and they all loved it. Great service, our waitress was very friendly. Definitely stop here is you're around Gatlinburg!

“A Gatlinburg Must”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 29, 2013

I can't imagine a trip to Gatlinburg without breakfast here. Even my daughter loves the place- she always wants the Bears in the Snow- teddy bear shaped pancakes with m&m eyes and belly buttons sprinkled with powdered sugar "snow"- all or a whopping $3.55! The service is excellent, the food is awesome. The pancakes are light and fluffy- not heavy at all. I had the western omelette. My husband had the morning star and can't stop talking about it. Don't let the line out front put you off- the line moves quickly, and there is no better breakfast to be had in Gatlinburg. They take CASH ONLY, but there is an ATM inside.
