“Good old Country cooking..!!”

This is one of the best places for breakfast in Gatlinburg. I've ate here to many times to remember. Great eggs anyway, grits, pancakes, sausages, bacon, biscuits you name it they got it. Not to mention while your waiting for that slow eater. They have an awesome Gift selection. Very good prices on food & souvenirs...!!! Oh and I almost forgot. After eating...take some time to sit on front porch and rock in Dozen of rocking chairs. Always something to see even if your just watching other travelers.

“Yum!”

They had a wide variety of options to choose from. The butterscotch chip pancakes were absolutely delectable!

“Never again”

I guess by all the reviews I should have gotten breakfast. I ordered the open faced roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes. The potatoes were fake covered in nasty gravy, and the roast beef was sliced like sandwich meat. No flavor at all and no seasoning on anything. When it says ROAST BEEF I expect it to be just that.

“Coming from a local”

Favorite place to fill up by far, been going there most of my life.. The best service you'll get anywhere.. I've tried most of the stuff on the menu, it's all amazing.. Great prices too.. Definitely somewhere you need to stop at if you're in the area.. Nice laid back atmosphere too, away from the hustle and bustle!

“Great waffles and pancakes....but that's it.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 17, 2014 via mobile

Went there thinking they had a good variety of food, but were very disappointed to see that they did not have platters that combined pancakes or waffles with eggs, sausages or any of there other items. So if you ordered pancakes or waffles, you'd have to add a side of anything else that you want which can add up pretty quickly. They also do not offer plain pancakes as a side if you ordered an omelette or other platters so you'd have to pay for a full pancake dish.

Having said that, their Belgian Waffle was amazing. And so were their regular pancakes. But if you're in the mood for anything other than that, go somewhere else. Wife ordered an omelette and it was small and disappointing. Sausage links were ok.
