Service was good. Food was just average to below average. This is your grandparent's restaurant from the early 80's and its stuck there. They need a makeover. Food was at least fresh, but just tired and old. No wow factor. There are simply better places. Even the server's outfits are dated.

I am amazed at the wide range of reviews on Trip Advisor for this place. My trout was not very tasty and bland, and the tilapia wasn't any better. The French onion soup was pretty good but overall it was disappointing. The bread pudding however was excellent. They are located way off the tourist areas and have ample parking. The service was super.

Seating hostess and server were extremely friendly and polite. Gave my daughter some bread and butter and water when we had to wait about thirty minutes to be seated. We were using a coupon purchased through my husbands work to pay for our meal. My coconut shrimp soup was very interesting and good. Our meals were both good and well portioned but not huge. Valuewise I think the meals were priced a little high for the size and quality. Atmosphere was a bit dark but view was nice and peaceful.

Have never seen this restaurant because it is hidden up the road. Did restaurant.com and this appeared. Thought we would give it a try. Nice little place with an open atmosphere in a log cabin setting. Pay close attention to the right turn on newman road and then turn left at the bottom of the hill before heading back up the hill. Limited menu, but the food was good. Salad and dessert was very good. Nice atmosphere and waitress.
