Description: Casual Dining in Downtown Gatlinburg, TN Blaine's Grill & Bar is located on the site originally known as Rebel Corner which burned down July, 1992. The fire destroyed one whole city block, owned by Mr. Smith's family. Home from college for the summer, Kirby watched the block burn to the ground, and then left college to help his family rebuild the block. He decided to open a restaurant/night club where Rebel Corner originally stood. Blaine's Grill and Bar was established January 1998 by Kirby Smith. Mr. Smith descended from one of the original Gatlinburg families & has lived in Gatlinburg all his life. Mr. Smith opened Ronnie Milsap's Keyboard Cafe, January 1995 which he ran under this name until January 1998 where he converted to Blaine's Grill & Bar, striving for a more modern, fun place to come as opposed to the previous country theme. Blaine's Grill and Bar has been a great location for the past ten years for restaurant goers. Our menu serves a great variety of freshly prepared meals and has one of the best views of the Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg.

“Tasty food that's easy on the wallet”

In a tourist town such as Gatlinburg, it's hard to find tasty food at a reasonable price. Blaine's, however, accomplishes just this. Four of us dined here during lunch and we each were impressed with our meals. The fajitas were excellent! If you are not hungry enough to handle the large fajita entree, as my wife was during our visit, try the fajita salad...it is just as delicious. The burgers and sandwiches also looked great. While the food here is certainly standard "American" cuisine, their ingredients seem fresh and their spin on some of this traditional fair makes it worth a visit.

“Good Food, Friendly Service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

I had a wonderful visit to Blaines. The food was good and so was the waitress. The only nitpick was that the waitress and manager did not know if there was Honey in one of their sauces (I'm allergic). I just didn't order that item, so it was okay. Special Dietary Needs - always ask. I did. I didn't like the answer, but got something else that was very good instead that I knew wouldn't have honey.

“Ok experience”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

The food was alright, nothing spectacular and both our meals were luke-warm. The chicken noodle soup was amazing though! My philly was pretty plain, the server did not ask if I wanted mushrooms on it, which would of made the sandwhich so much better! (and its an upsale for the restaurant!)The prices were reasonable, nothing seemed over priced as some restaurants in the area were. Our server was NOT very friendly and seemed rushed the whole time even though they were not busy at all, I saw him with one other table the whole time we were there. It took him at least 15 minutes to take our bill when we set the credit card out. He was over standing by the kitchen talking, so the excuse "I was busy" doesn't fly. The restaurant was clean and had a nice outdoor seating area. If in the area again, I would probably not choose here and try some place else.

“Good food...very good wait staff”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2012

second day in Gatlinburg. This is my first time in town and it is a tourist town. Blaine's is well equipped to handle crowds and do it well.

We had the standard American fair food. It was well prepared and served.

Definitely worth the money we paid. I have eaten at one other place in town. Blaine's was better priced and the food was good.

“Typical, but solid sports bar”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 2, 2012

It's a sports bar. Same food you expect at one. Service was good. Outdoor dining is nice if the weather permits.

Blaine's is a sister restaurant to J.T. Hannah's in Pigeon Forge. They share their menu, but have a different atmosphere.
