Looked high and low for a "non-tourist trap" restaurant without having to drive 40 minutes. Walked in and was pleasantly surprised by the "lodge" atmosphere. My wife who normally is afraid to order meat, ordered the prime rib and although slightly overdone due to being one of the least pieces (found out post-meal), it was super tender and seasoned well. I had the boursin stuffed filet and it was super tasty. The baby had chicken fingers which were hand battered and quite good. Slightly disappointed they didn't allow a salad as one of my two sides, but that is consistent with a lot of upscale restaurants. Overall, a great find on our road trip and someplace we would come back to.
